It’s time to build one.
But you also know you want some level of control over who “lives” there. You’ve been told so many times to “do life in community,” but you’ve never been told HOW to find this elusive thing called community. That’s where we differ. We want to show you step-by-step how to show up authentically and create the community you desire for yourself and your family. It’s kinda like building a town, you have to find your perfect site, a source of water, create the infrastructure and then invite others to contribute.

Hi! I'm Jess,
Once upon a time, I was like you: surviving, but isolated and lonely, numbing out on Netflix and chocolate. Without a strong sense of community or resources, I was not doing a great job of parenting my children or taking care of myself. Sick of hearing people talk about doing life together, I decided to figure out how to actually BE in community.
Fast forward a few years and many adventures and hard lessons. I have gone from lonely, to knowing that no matter what, I have people who love and support me; from overlooked, to truly seen, and from not having any boundaries, to knowing how and when to stand up for myself and my children. During this journey I have gained certification in Mental Health Coaching from the AACC, and realized that I had actually been creating and impacting communities around me for years. Through my work in dog training, teaching ESL, and interior design based on human psychology, as well as from the school of hard knocks, I have picked up strategies and techniques that I now use to help you on your own solo-motherhood journey.
Learn step by step how to build your Village, both virtually and
in-person. Live Zoom sessions will give you opportunity to practice your new skills, and rotating accountability partners will keep you on track.
We are all students; we are all teachers. Brainstorm with your peers how to navigate the issues keeping you stuck, and learn from up to 9 other mamas how they tackle solo-motherhood and still manage to keep their kids alive.
Each month you can schedule a 1:1 session with me, where I will hold space for you, listen to you vent, mentor you through specific challenges, and hopefully make you laugh at yourself (or me) just a little!
Is there something you’re dying to know more about but just don’t have the time to look into it?
It could be anything from looking deeper into the Enneagram to How to cook over an open fire, there is no topic off limits!
